24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE... The story of Factory Records and how it rose from the early British punk scene in the late 70's with Joy Division who after tragic circumstances went onto become New Order, the "Madchester" music scene from late 80's/early 90's with bands like Happy Mondays, and then after the closing credits of "24 Hour Party People" we fast forward all the way to the present with the annual In The City international music convention who for over 10 years have given the world their first taste of many now established alternative artists like Placebo, Muse, Baby Bird, Coldplay, The Subways & Daft Punk to name just a few.
