TOM HINGLEY the lead vocalist of legendary indie band INSPIRAL CARPETS, has a brand new album out this month, and is currently out touring across the UK. His new solo album "Thames Valley Delta Blues" (New Memorabilia) is a sequel to Tom’s critically acclaimed 2000 album release, "Keep Britain Untidy". It is a record that sees Tom discussing the world in 2009 including mass consumerism, debt, recession and ecstasy. His singing style incorporates Soul, R and B, and Jazz, while his delivery is technically superior, and easily more emotive than many of his contemporaries. So much so that Lenny Kravitz was moved to comment 'You should be singing on Broadway' after witnessing Tom singing live at a television recording. On Monday 19th October you can also listen to a live performance by Tom at this years IN THE CITY (see article below about this annual event) with a Live Broadcast from 7:00pm (20:00 hours NL time) on http://www.manchesterradioonline.com/ - You can find out more info and also listen to selected songs by going to his own site at: http://www.myspace.com/tomhingleymusics
