The WHITE STRIPES are set to release their 6th studio album on Monday 11th June. "Icky Thump" will be out on XL Recordings. Jack and Meg White spent only 3 weeks recording the album, while the word Icky in the title of the album (Icky Thump) is derived from the Lancastrian/Mancunian accent (North West England) of White's wife Karen Elson. Icky is slang/informal speech, meaning crap or bad - So now you know!
